The hotel was Diappointinf as it was under renovation and nothing open, still charged full price. Nothing said about renovations or wouldn’t”t stayed. I would think twice about using bookings.com in further if info not updated.

There's lots of malls in Edmonton and it has one of the lowest tax rates in Canada. You can find almost anything here. Weather in spring, summer and fall is alot better than I thought. Dry and warm and the daylight time is long. A trip of about 4 days is perfect. It's also just a 3 hours drive from Calgary and 4 hours to Banff. Close enough to add a few days to your trip and visit either city. I also fine that there's a fun number of social clubs and social activities. One just needs to look for this before going so that you know which days of the week people meet.

Be careful of what areas you go to.
Be careful of what areas you go to. Some are rougher than others. Lots of fun sites and attractions, but know your route and keep your guard up. Most of the walking trails we have done have been exciting, but again, during the day.

I showed up for my reservation, waited in queue and my turn to checkin came, the front desk woman asked if "I WAS DELIVERY GUY (OR DELIVERING SOMETHING)" basically, she did not think a black man was here to stay in hotel, VERY RACIST !
after booking and confirming my booking (booking.com) and calling hotel to confirm reservation. The hotel refused to accept Visa debit payment, at 10:30 PM, I had to call around and find another place to stay. Already my experience was worse enough even if they did accept my reservation I wouldn't have stayed.

Edmonton is a great city!
Edmonton is a great city! Super affordable with lots of things to do, but you have to plan the time that you come to catch the right events.
People are friendly here, you just have to be aware of yourself as you travel as there are some homeless people downtown - they don't bother you, but its just means you should stay on main streets and you'll be fine.
The breakfast was pretty good. They have an automatic pancake machine which was super fun. The coffee was nice and strong too. My room had a fridge and microwave which was super convenient. The room was clean and I really like the balcony. It's so nice to get the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful skyline. The staff are super helpful and supportive. My fav hotel in downtown Edmonton with really high value for money. Be sure to ask for a balcony room at time of check in, you'll love it.
The hotel room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Considering that it is located about 1.5 km from the Edmonton International Airport, in close proximity to mall shopping and virtually across the street from Costco it is an excellent location and good value for the money. They also have long term parking and shuttles running every half an hour for the convenience of travelers.
Breakfast has a fairly large choice of hot and cold offerings.
We came to Edmonton as a family to go to West Edmonton Mall. This hotel was nearby and convenient. We stayed in a suite, and appreciated the separate room to put down our young son early and still relax in the rest of the space (highly recommend this option for families!) The bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. A comfortable stay that mostly met our needs.
Breakfast was very good not like the other places where they just make you cook everything yourself everything was hot there was scrambled eggs, French toast sausage. The only thing I had to cook for myself was the toast and it was so close to the West Edmonton Mall it was a plus for shopping.
The hotel provides us a good room with all functional amenities. It is located in an area that is easily accessed and close to downtown which makes it easy to access anything in Edmonton. We enjoy this hotel.
-All was excellent as expected
It was a great hotel for being directly beside west Edmonton mall. The service was great and the rooms were clean. The bedding was very comfortable compared to other hotels we have stayed at and it was nice to have a fridge in the room.
Breakfast was outstanding with lots of options to satisfy all 3 of my kids. Rooms were a good size with space for everyone to relax at the end of the day. Nice centralized location within a 5 minute drive to west edmonton mall.
Property offers breakfast in adjacent hotel with additional charges. It is connected to the property. Hotel is at walkable distance from Walmart and bulkbarn. Few minutes drive to West Edmonton mall.
Regularly use this hotel when working in Edmonton. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and well appointed.
